Charlotte is an ambitious creative, graduated from Chelsea College of Art in central London with a 2:1 Ba Hons in Graphic Design Communication, with experience and personal interest in print, publication, fashion photography, film, typography and contemporary culture.
Urban Tribe Collection
A collection of surface prints that reveal an extended narrative and play with the original narrative, illustrating the fluidity of Urban Tribalism in postsubcultural society, with contrast to the fixed subcultural theory of past years.
"Urban Tribalism defines a generation where subculture has moved into an existence fixated around musical influence. This new cultural arrangement is less formal and has similarities in common grounds rather than strict ones. Maffesoli's subcultural theory of 'tribes' refers to contemporary urban music's musical and visual style as 'exemplifying the essential eclecticism of post-war youth culture'."
